| VDM was founded over 40 years ago. The goal is to send missionaries out, who work in partnership with many other forreign Missions. VDM is doing in this collaboration mainly the administrative part for the German missionaries. VDM is non-denominational and a member of the AEM (Arbeitsgemeinschaft evangelikaler Missionen). There are about 160 missionaries who work with VDM around the globe. | ||

| World Team was founded in the 30s by Elmer Thompson in Cuba as the West Indies Mission. WT worked first in the Caribbean (Cuba, Haiti, Guadeloupe). When the mission started working in other countries, the West Indies Mission became World Team. Teamwork is one of World Teams qualities. 1995 the two missions World Team und RBMU (Regions beyond Missions Union) merged as WT. World Team has about 400 missionaries who are working in many countries around the globe. | ||
